The Academy was founded by Dr.Rajeshwari Wankhade and Mr. Anil Wankhade in the year 2021 with the sole purpose of enabling the youth to serve the country by joining the Defence forces in capacity of an Officer as well as in Junior Commissioned Officers/ Other ranks. With experienced faculty the training of SSB and other interviews would be a sincere effort towards getting the student ready in the final stages of his college for all future opportunities.
The Academy is located at the outskirts of the lush green Gorewada zoo in a village called Fetri which is barely 13 Km from Zero Mile, Nagpur (7 Km from Civil Lines). In the immediate vicinity of lush green trees of a Bio diversity park along the Nagpur Kalmeshwar Road, spread over an area of 15000 sq ft are the premises Rakshanam Defence Preparatory Academy which include the fully equipped classes,Residential complex, Office area, Hostel area with a separate and facility for girls and an RDPA convenience complex to cater to needs of the students.
